Instead of drawing individual hair-like lines, Microshading builds the brow from small, closely-placed dots of pigment — lighter near the head of the brow, gradually deepening toward the tail. The result reads as soft shading rather than distinct strokes, closer to the look of brow powder than a hair-stroke tattoo. Because the color sits as an even field rather than fine lines, it tends to hold its shape longer on oily or combination skin, where hair-stroke work can blur or soften faster than expected.

For oily or combination skin, Microshading tends to hold up better. Fine hair-stroke lines from Microblading or Nano Brow can blur or soften faster when skin produces more oil, while Microshading's stippled gradient sits more evenly and resists blurring for longer.
Results are semi-permanent and fade gradually as the pigment sits in the upper layers of skin. Local guests typically return for a touch-up once fading begins; guests visiting from abroad often have the gradient built more thoroughly at the first session, since a return visit isn't always practical.
A topical numbing cream is applied before your session, so most guests describe the sensation as light pressure or scratching rather than pain.

Most guests need just one thorough session. A touch-up can be scheduled afterward for guests based in Seoul, once healing is complete, to fine-tune the gradient and depth.
